Re: Local Gun store owner supports ammo ban
I live less than 30 minutes from there, in Rosenberg. I've been in their old location a couple of times and in their new location a few times as well, before this. I'd rather drive to Wharton to shop at Carroll's, or to CS to shop at Champion, or to Independence Firearms in Brenham.

The owner supports gun rights and shooting sports as long as they are padding his pocketbook. As evidenced by his statements about online ammo sales, he has no problems throwing other firearms businesses and gun owners to the legislative wolves...as long as it doesn't hurt his financial health.
They will never see a dime of my money.

I doubt even professional damage control could help at this point. His best bet is to [shut up] and hope people forget. Unfortunately for him, gun owners have long memories.

Except the guy runs a business called "Tactical Firearms" and they sell mostly tactical and defensive type firearms. He is either a complete idiot, or the kind of scumbag who would be completely OK with giving up rights for the rest of us if it improved his bottom line. I'm going to go with #2.

I haven't been that impressed with them the time or two I've walked into their store. I won't be going back.
