The Galveston-Houston Diocese has made it local option for each parish. St. Benadettes in Houston is posted with both signs. Mary Queen Catholic Church in Friendswood is not posted at all.

30.06 is unacceptable.
Churches are targets, especially given our war with radical Islam.
Take TAM up on his offer and let the church powers that be know they're losing customers.

Correction:
The sanctuary of St. Bernadette Catholic Church is posted 30.07 only. Ancillary buildings, including one attached to the sanctuary, are posted both 30.06 and 30.07.

st. Bernadette Catholic Church is 30.07 posted but not 30.06. It is in the Galveston-Houston diocese.

The parish pastor does not have the authority to opt out of a directive of the bishop, or in the case of the Galveston-Houston diocese, the Cardinal.spx74 wrote:I would be curious if the Pastor can give permission for a person to carry past the sign?The diocese would order the signs put up, but the Pastor is the supreme authority on the property.

I have not heard anything from the Houston-Galveston Arcdioces. Maybe I will find out Sunday. If my church is posted, I will have to find elsewhere.
