Just returned from a vacation in Paris and Barcelona and, no, there's no civilian concealed carry in France. i searched what seemed to be the whole interweb and found nothing to even suggest it would be possible. Didn't seem to need it, though, because there were soldiers EVERYWHERE. We saw a lot of Africans, etc., but managed to avoid any place like that in the video. Felt pretty safe the whole time.

We did get to visit a gun shop in Barcelona. Had a very large collection, and when I asked about a Llama .380, the salesman took me into the vault and showed me one, along with a lot of other neat stuff. A mini-1911, with a locking breech (newer models were straight blow-back), exactly like the one I used to have. He could have sold it to me, but I never would have gotten it onto a plane or through customs at Heathrow or Chicago.
