Re: I'm Out!

So did you find employment there, or did you retire? I work from home so it doesn't matter where I live as long as I have internet. Some things I've learned about Tennessee so far are pretty cool. The city of Chattanooga offers internet access as a public utility like water and electric. So does Pu...

I'm Out!

Well, guys, I've enjoyed being on here for the last several years though I haven't been nearly as active on here since my baby was born (he's already a year old - where does the time go?). The wife and I are moving to Tennessee in two weeks, and I guess we'll drag the kiddo along with us. We outgrew...

Re: Another mass shooting in Las Vegas

I read a story that a civilian with a concealed carry permit exchanged fire with the couple, possibly wounding one, causing the pair to go behind the Walmart and shoot themselves. It's unclear as to whether the civilian is the person killed at the Walmart or not. If true, then this person is respons...

Arkansas Passes Constitutional Carry

The title says it all.

Maybe Texas will follow suit.

Put Guns in the Schools

What a great blog post about a school shooting most of us have probably never heard of. Why haven't we heard of it? Because a good guy with a gun was there to counter the bad guy with a gun, and the bad guy ended up only murdering himself. Since this doesn't fit the media narrative, it was hardly re...

Washington DC Requires Re-Registration of Guns

Anyone who lives in Washington DC and has ever registered a firearm since registration began in 1976 has 90 days to go to police headquarters, re-register the gun (for a $48 fee), and get photographed and fingerprinted. Failure to do so within the 90 day window will automatically result in registrat...

The Liberal Gun Club

Take a peek into the liberal gun culture. Yes, there is one. This group was founded as the liberal version of the NRA. Many of their goals are similar to those of the NRA in that they oppose gun control legislation. I found this to be a very interesting article. http://www.gopusa.com/news/2014/01/02...

Re: Saw this on Facebook today

Anti-gunners always say: "But a car's intended purpose is not to kill someone. A gun has no other purpose than to kill people." It makes no sense to them that it's the MISUSE of either object that murders people; of course, they also believe in the "kill = murder" equivalency fal...

Re: Logical fallacies of the anti's

I've an acquaintance who proudly told me he'd never carry a gun. Didn't believe in them he said. I asked him if he or a family member's lives were at risk from a violent criminal attack would he approve of my using a gun to protect them or would he rather they be left to their own devices. At first...

Pentagon Warns to Expect "Radical" Change in US Government

According to this article, top level sources in the Pentagon have warned their EU counterparts that President Obama will soon invoke the Insurrection Act powers under 50 USC Chapter 13 and national emergency powers under 50 USC § 1621 due to the debt limit/government shutdown impasse, and various St...

Nope. Those are just hipsters and that's their job. They don't feel the need to be tied to a regular job, so they panhandle to get their money for the day, then move on with their day when they have what they need.

I would go after ny property to recover with the intent of using "FORCE" as it gives me the opportunity to do in 9:41 :rules: 9:42 (in the last paragraph) tells me I may use deadly force if any force less than deadly for would endanger me or another to death or serious bodily Injury as I ...

Re: Just Lost My Insurance

For the sake of argument, let's say that we keep things the way that they are today as most people seem to like that idea. You've bought into Democrat propaganda, my friend. Nobody has said to keep things the way they are. This is a lie told over and over again by proponents of Obamacare. The fact ...
