I could probably build a beater AR using parts that I have pulled off other rifles, semi auto BCGs from when I went to auto BCG, A2 grips and car stocks that I replaced with magpul stuff. I even have a torqued A4 upper from some goon with a cheater bar and a bent 14.5" barrel from a buddy who hammered in his own blind pin with the upper in a vice block and not barrel support... shoots about 10 inches high at 50 yards with the front post even with the ears. (no weld or silver solder either... I have it because I have SBR stamps) Toss all of that together and turn it in and get $2,000... go buy a nice AR with it, or get stamps a few more lowers.
