Re: Concealabiltiy: M&P9 vs. M&P9c
I own and carry the M&P 9 fullsize. This is from carrying a RIA 1911 compact which was from a Springfield 1911 GI. I don't have much of a problem. I would recommend using a 1 3/4 inch wide belt versus the usual 1 1/2 . It made a world of a difference. I chose the fullsize M&P because IMO I f...

Free BUMP.
I sure wish I was in the market for another SIG P229. Those are the models I prefer before they changed the design to include a rail. Hope it goes to a good home.

Re: Academy ammo sales
I know this thread is old. But if it any help, I just bought the last box of Remington 250rd MegaPack from the Academy off of Gessner and SW-59. They still have (2) 100-rd Winchester White Box and a shelf load of Monarch 50rd boxes, all in 9mm.

Try ParkHill Gunworks. He was actually recommended to me by two gun shops. I took my S&W m66 to him for inspection, he gave it a good treatment.

Re: Dry Firing a 1911
Yes, it is okay to dry fire.
I also learned that it is NOT okay to sling forward the slide on an empty chamber. Overtime, it can cause damage to the sear, hammer, and/or breech face.

I am your run of the mill college kid. Few things I gotta say: 1) Those emo kids are fun to hang out with. Why? Because any doubt of myself will quickly dissipate when I realize that the beautiful, southern belle will rather date a chubby guy like me than someone who "shares his feelings"....

Re: RI rolls out the welcome mat for scum
I wouldn't expect an explosion. But that O2 is under high pressure so that it can be delivered to highest part of the building. You puncture it and you could be taking O2 away from somebody. That O2 line could be going to surgery, or the ER, or maybe even a cardiac floor. Thats what I meant that I d...

Re: RI rolls out the welcome mat for scum
Well, I think the issue they are trying to bring to light was that he was NOT supposed to be carrying a firearm while working. The other issue is that he fired and possibly missed. I don't know how this particular hospital is set up, but most hospitals have oxygen running through pipeline throughout...

If ever you catch a doctor asking your child about guns in the house. Just hand him/her this form and ask him to review his/her malpractice insurance.

Re: How does one legally manufacture a supressor?
Yes. You can. HOWEVER, you must first fill out FORM1 from the ATF and register your firearm before the building can begin. AND yes, they view the suppressor as a firearm. Here's the Link to the form to fill out--> http://www.atf.gov/forms/pdfs/f53201.pdf Now say You didn't like it or it just isn't y...
