The number one statement that can be expected from people who are interviewed afterward is, "I never thought it could happen here." I think many people blindly follow that mentality, as judged from the responses to these kinds of tragedies. No one seems to want to except responsibility for their own well being, also portrayed by the individual being interviewed when he stated that, "there's three cops who live here, about eight apartments down from where this happened." What, just because some cops live nearby means that all is well in utopia and they will somehow magically keep anything bad from happening to you? All I can say is pull your head out of the sand and accept some self responsibility for you and your family's safety. On another note, it sounds like a horrible tragedy and I hope those involved are caught.

That's just my thoughts/comments on this, so expect to get what you paid for it.
