Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol

If your shooting down left, then your milking the trigger. That means your pulling back with your pinky or ring finger on the grip. Try to relax these 2 fingers and only use the the muscles that moves the 3rd joint in your index finger to pull the trigger. The pad of your index finger should be on the trigger. not the joint.

this is a common issue with glocks or replicas, its called either milking the trigger or glock syndrome. It will take some practice to get used to on a sigma, but try dry firing in the mirror and watch the barrel drop down to the left when u pull the trigger. With practice you will learn to adjust. Try not using the ring and pinky finger on the grip for a few dry fires,, and see the difference.

good luck.

Not sure how you came to this conclusion. The answer to your question is "YES".
I believe me and several others have suggested several ways to do so. I've even posted pics and prices. :headscratch

:txflag: good luck to you sir.

Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol

Ok I got it, I pulled out one of my holsters, It was a cheap Academy holster for like 10 bucks i bought a few years back. I tried it with no belt just using the clip, It works perfect!
Sigma is about the size of the g19 which is the bottom right gun. I put the gun on the 5 oclock position IWB using the clip to my jeans, Levis 551 i think, and everything was perfect. Walked around a bit, did some stretching and the likes and all is well. Very comfortable, I might even start using this when my shirts are untucked.
this holster also has a spare mag pouch. Now i would recommend adjusting the ammo capacity in your gun/mag compartment till you get the right wieght for pants you wear.
The g19 sites low enough into the holster so only a few inchs stick out over the top of the pants,, which looking the mirror, i could not see any printing. Also the Clip is wide, so you get better support with no belt.
Worst case your out 10 bucks... and trip to academy.

Bersa is beside the glock with alot smaller holster.
G27 is top left with Comp-tac IWB tuckable
and that other flimsy looking thing is IWB lightweight for small autos.

Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol

I've been doing a little research on your situation. I've come across alot of deep cover holsters, but most look very iffy. I would suggest looking into a shoulder holster that is tighter fitting, and meant for deep cover.

Example: http://www.copsplus.com/prodnum6437.php

Now this holster would work if you wore a undershirt, and for quick draws you would have to figure out a way or find a holster that mounts at a slight angle, but unless you are wearing a really tight shirt, this should be able to conceal a g19 or sigma. Notice the front cross strap, that will keep the gun tight to your side, allowing for better concealment. And the price isnt bad either.

I looked at ankle holsters as well, but found none that would be comfortable with the weight of a g19 or sigma. not to mention u said u like shorts..

Of course just about any waist holster is out of question if you dont wear a belt. But they do make deep cover waist bands that can carry sigma or g19, so if you feel comfortable witht that than you can, but the things look to much like a girdle to me.
I've heard a few good reviews on this holster, for use with beltless shorts: http://www.kahrshop.com/cgi-bin/itemdet ... ?itmid=786

Pocket holsters are good to, but not for sigma.

From what i'm finding out there, you can conceal a sigma without a belt, BUT! you loose the quick draw aspect in most deep cover holsters. So u must strike a balance. Which only u can decide.

Google search:
Deep Cover Holsters
Shoulder Holsters
waistband holsters

Hope this helps bro.

You can see how I doubt your sincerity.
So far the only limits I see are the ones you are placing on yourself.
You mean, the only limits are the CLOTHES IN MY CLOSET

You know this is the single most irritating thing about many gun-carrying folks. It's the overt opinion that once you decide to carry concealed, then every other part of your life needs to be re-oriented around it, otherwise you are being unreasonable. C'mon people, I know some of you are really interested in helping but I asked specifically for information about making something with within my totally normal and reasonable situation.

If you really want to help, then help. If you are going to parrot the advice of "try a series of a $100 holsters, a stiff gun belt, and XL shirts to cover it all" then you know what? That advice is not helpful to me at all.

This is one of the key things that keeps "outsiders" on the "outside".
[/rant]

Never mind. I shall go back to figuring this out on my own.

:confused5
I believe people are just trying to help you out bud.

I know what your going through on the concealing part, I am their right now. Big gun or small gun, Do you spend $500 on a gun and then spend $500 on looking for a decent holster? These guys in the forum are generally just trying to help you out. Try and not be so irritated over such things, you ask a 100 people a question, your likely to get a 100 answers. The thing to do is just figure out what works best for you, while using the expierence you learn from the forum to help guide you in a direction.

And to answer your question about can you conceal a G19 on a slim frame. YES
I'm 6'2 175lbs 32 waist.
I can conceal a G19,G27 with no issue, But there is a comfort factor when sitting all day. Which why i changed guns for office use.
Check my picture above, you will see the holster and guns i carry.
I usually wear business casual, slacks/tucked shirt.

If i can hide a g19 with a Comp-Tac i'm sure anybody can. ( though i dont recommend doing so when running network cables, I got called on it from my supervisor while bending over a desk grabbing cables.. Luckly hes pro gun, and everything went smooth. Which prompted my Ruger LCP purchase )

Cheers and good luck sir.

Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol

Your handgun is just one tool in your self defense arsenal that you have availble. Scale the gun to your daily activies, this is what I do.

Cold days that i'm rarely active ( jacket weather ) I will use my G19 OWB
Warm summer days I use my G27 IWB tucked/untucked shirt.
Days that i'm infront of clients doing work, or formal events, i use the Ruger LCP pocket gun.

Its just not beneficial for everyone to carry around their 45's all the time. Sure it nice to have that much fire power, but a well placed .380 will stop somebody just the same.
