is it fair to take it from that statement that your intention is to predominantly open carry? I only ask because HEB indicated that CC was welcome in their stores which would leave me thinking they are Pro 2A.
If given an equal option of "half pro 2A" or "full pro 2A" i'll default to full.
Except that the phrase "half pro 2A" is a meaningless creation of OCT and Carry Texas. It's a feeble attempt to cast aspersions when they are unwarranted. It's a classic OCT/CT tactic.

Chas.
I think you miss the point entirely. If open carry is my preferred method, why would I not do business with a company that allows me to do that?

Why would I go against my preferred carry method to reward a company that tells me I can't?

That makes no sense at all.
I didn't miss anything and your point was to falsely claim HEB is "half pro 21A." That's nothing but a shorthand version of "if you don't support everything I want, then you are anti-gun." It's the line OCT/Grisham/Carry Texas/Holcomb used during the failed campaign to kill licensed open-carry and pass unlicensed open-carry.

I couldn't care less where you shop; just don't denigrate a pro-gun company on our Forum.

TexasRifleman wrote:I'm noticing a trend in stores posting 30.07, HEB included.

Stores that have a nationwide presence; Kroger, Wal Mart, Target, even Starbucks, have seen open carry already and know that it's a big nothing. They aren't posting any signs.

Texas only stores don't have that experience to call on so they are defaulting to a bit of fear. I suspect over time they too will realize that it's a big nothing and drop the signs.
What about the stores listed in this thread? viewtopic.php?f=129&t=81352 Doesn't seem that 30.07 signs are being posted only by Texas companies.

Costco HQ: Issaquah, WA
Randall’s (Safeway) HQ: Pleasonton, CA
Sprouts HQ: Phoenix, AZ
Target HQ: Minneapolis, MN
Trader Joe’s HQ: Monrovia, CA

Thanks, this is the best analogy I've seen! It's great to see you back Liberty.

The representative at Customer Relations first told me they were a privately held company and could make any decision they wished about open carry. I agreed with her and explained they were affecting licensed carry holders. She then switched over to they were following TABC rules in that they sold alcohol and were prohibited by law from allowing open carry. When I disputed that and told her all her stores were Blue licensed she hung up on me!! :banghead:
This right here... its the exact reason I probably won't be frequenting any HEBs anytime soon. Yes they have the right to post them, but I find it a slap in the face to the most law abiding citizens of the state. And they are even flippant about why they are doing it. If every pro 2A red blooded American would stop shopping at HEB because of it, I wonder how long till they were running specials for anyone who open carried into the store.
I know, I know - it ain't going to happen, but a man can dream can't he ?
If you think it is redblooded pro 2A Americans keeping the company afloat. Go in there on a day when there is a rumor INS is in town doing roundups. There will be almost no shoppers, and like 3 employees. Happened where I grew up, and that was central Texas not South Texas.
That's probably a function of the community where the store is located. That's not the case in Friendswood.
