Well we have some time between now and then to find out if that stays the case. I still think its good to get some other names out there just in case Cornyn decides to vote for "Universal Background Checks" AKA prohibiting of private sales as some sort of lame ass compromise.
Will you support him if he continues his support for the Second Amendment?

Chas.
If he continues to oppose all "anti-gun" legislation, and doesn't support anything else that would infringes on civil liberties then yes.
Well, that's part of an answer. What other "civil liberties" do you mean?

That may be directly true.........
But he did nothing to block Holder's appointment. I saw the writing on the wall during all that and wrote him urging him to block Holder's appointment. Got the usual form letter back and as far as I know he probably voted for Holder in the end......

And that my friends indirectly affected gun NON-Control which has let us to current control actions. :banghead:

Not to mention all the other messes/lies Holder has been involved in with "The Anointed One".
It's not merely "directly true" it an absolute fact. No one can say Cornyn isn't strongly pro-gun, but you don't like that he didn't follow instructions in your letter and "block" Holder's appointment. (BTW, that wasn't possible, but that doesn't matter to Cornyn detractors.)

Losing Cornyn for some unknown isn't risky, it political suicide. As others have said, having a 1st term Senator and a freshman will mean Texas has absolutely no influence in the Senate, absolutely none.
