We should all send Daniel an email thanking him and his group for their efforts. It would be good for pro-gun and non-committed Democrats in Washington to understand the label "pro Second Amendment" shouldn't be reserved for Republicans. I'm also attaching a copy of HR45.

The most onerous provision of HR45 is that it outlaws civilian possession of any handgun unless the prospective gun owner obtains a permit from the Attorney General that must be renewed every five years. This law also extends to a large number of semi-automatic rifles as well. And if you try to get the permit, you really need to take a good look at what's involved in applying for the permit.
