I'm happy to report that my dad is rethinking his carry position - meaning that he now thinks he should carry (yay!). He saw a piece on the news about a 62 year old man in Garland who was beat down and eventually died (in the hospital) by two thugs (apparently this happened in the last week or so, I don't have a news cite though). It got my dad to thinking. So, we'll be making a range trip soon, he wants to put some more lead through his nice Colt .380 Gov't model and/or his S&W .357 mag.
