Stop giving them your business. I'm not trying to be unsympathetic, because I get that you're angry about it and why, but the only real pressure any of us can bring to bear is economic. If your car dealer gets enough letters from LTC holders that they will be transferring their business to another dealer, eventually they'll get the message that their policy is costing them something. But be prepared to find out that some of them just don't give a cup of warm spit about your outrage, and they're not going to change their policy because THEY don't like your guns. Period.

Edited to add the following:

There have been cases documented on this forum of members who successfully educated a business owner in writing and convinced that owner to take down the signs. What these communications ALL have in common is a tone of respect. If you phone/write that business and just pour on the flames and kick sand in their eyes, you're not going to get anywhere. Be diplomatic. Tell them that they don't have to post BOTH signs just to prevent open carry (which is a lie that they are being told by anti-gun activists, who tell businesses that both signs have to be posted to prevent open carry). Give them the link to the DPS website on crime stats for LTC holders versus the general population. Tell them about the background checks LTCs have to submit to in order to get the license, and that a LOT of the customers who don't carry and can walk past their signs would NOT qualify for an LTC. Tell them that the kind of people who bother to even get an LTC tend to be in higher income brackets with more disposable income, and ask them, is that the kind of person you want to keep from entering your store? Tell them that even if their insurance company advises it, there is NO law supporting higher liability insurance rates if they don't put up the signs. And finally, tell them that their signs will be religiously followed by LTCs - the MOST law abiding citizens there are - but that the signs have no force of law on someone who carrying a firearm illegally without a license, so the signs won't keep out armed criminals.

If you can communicate all of these ideas respectfully, you might be surprised at the positive responses you'll get. And when it doesn't work, move on and give the money to someone else. I've had to do that more than once.......including finding other charities to support.
