I probably only see 2-3 movies in an entire year in a theater. That said, when I go, I tend to sit about midway up, and I always choose an end seat. I also keep a close watch on people as they enter. I have the sort of vague thought that being halfway up keeps me not too far from the exits, and being on the end gives me room to fire and maneuver. But honestly, I don't think about it from a tactical perspective much. I just like being on the end, and I like being halfway up.
