For me, it's the other way around. She will sometimes have a glass of wine with dinner, while I rarely ever drink, even at home. Its simply that if I had the need to use my weapon to legally defend myself, then when they test my breath or blood, and the slight amount of alcohol shows up, that could (or would) give some reasonable doubt that the shoot was not clean.
I am not going to jeopardize that outcome with the need for a single beer, wine or mixed drink.
its just not worth it.
