Children won't be covered, insurance rates will skyrocket and many employer-based insurance plans will be dropped - that's according to federal agencies, not partisans.
The central parts of ObamaCare don’t roll out until 2014, but the wheels are already falling off this clunker. The latest news from four federal agencies is that 1) insurance will be a lot less affordable than Americans were led to expect, 2) fewer people than promised will get insurance and 3) millions of people who have coverage through a job now will lose it, thanks to the president’s “reforms.” Oh, and children are the biggest victims.
I believe that this is all following the original design. The architects of this travesty wanted a single payer system. They knew that the single payer setup would not be accepted by the public so they orchestrated a collapse of the current system, creating the single payer option as the only option. They knew that it would take a catastrophic result to gain the missing acceptance.

The sad part is that they will likely succeed in blaming the collapse on the "greedy insurance companies" and others. There are often threads that talk about the lack of personal responsibility today. This is an example of the lack of governmental responsibility. It makes me sick to my stomach.
It's just another repetition of the Cloward-Piven Strategy. They tried it first with Welfare, and then later by corrupting voter qualification, and now it's an attack on the nation's healthcare system. The people who do this are enemies of the state in its most fundamental meaning.

[California] State lacks doctors to meet demand of national healthcare law
Lawmakers are working on proposals that would enable physician assistants, nurse practitioners, optometrists and pharmacists to diagnose, treat and manage some illnesses.

SACRAMENTO — As the state moves to expand healthcare coverage to millions of Californians under President Obama's healthcare law, it faces a major obstacle: There aren't enough doctors to treat a crush of newly insured patients.

Some lawmakers want to fill the gap by redefining who can provide healthcare.

They are working on proposals that would allow physician assistants to treat more patients and nurse practitioners to set up independent practices. Pharmacists and optometrists could act as primary care providers, diagnosing and managing some chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and high-blood pressure.

"We're going to be mandating that every single person in this state have insurance," said state Sen. Ed Hernandez (D-West Covina), chairman of the Senate Health Committee and leader of the effort to expand professional boundaries. "What good is it if they are going to have a health insurance card but no access to doctors?"
They waited until NOW to figure that out? You have to be plumb stupid to be a liberal.

Re: Anyone else saving $$ under Obamacare?

I cannot afford health insurance, but I earn just enough too much and have too much in personal assets (own home free and clear, etc.) to be on the public dole......a thought which offends my sensibilities anyway, so I would avoid it as long as possible. Consequently, beginning with the 2013 tax year, I get the "privilege" of paying an oppressive and unjust fine to the bloody IRS—which moneys will be used to buy health insurance for other people.

Consequently, I try avoid any more discussions of Obamacare because it drives my blood pressure up, putting my health at risk..........and I long for the day when every single politician who voted for it and Obama all choke on a chicken bone. I long for the day when government officials are by constitutional requirement made subject to the very same mashups they foist off on the rest of us, in the name of "doing something."

More than any single other thing this oppressive government has ever done, Obamacare was the straw that broke the camel's back and convinced me that this government is my enemy. It is the single most unjust piece of legislation passed since Jim Crow was abolished, and the absolute flippin' morons who voted for it, and those who gleefully trumpet its "benefits" are no less immoral than the most venal slave owner and overseer.

I want to make it very clear that I am not in favor of any armed uprising against this government........at this point.......but it is my fervent belief that if such a thing ever comes to pass, when future historians forensically examine its causes OBAMACARE will be judged to be one of the final injustices that pushed The People over the edge.

THAT is what I think of this travesty of injustice, oppressive government, and morally bankrupt ideology.

Was that clear enough?
