- Do you like this apartment building enough that you'd be willing to move to a new apartment in the same complex, even though you'd have to live around Mr. Juicer MMA and his loud parties.
- Do you want your daughter exposed to this stuff, or do you think you can protect her from it if you stay in this apartment complex?
- Do you have a lease?
- If you have a lease, will it cost you very much to break it?
- Can you afford the cost of moving, including 1st/last, deposits, etc., while your negotiating for the return of deposits etc. from your current landlord?
I do agree with a couple of things that WildBill said. Lose the "country boy" attitude is right. I'm not saying to forget your roots, but I am saying that confrontation with a willingness to go to fisticuffs is not the way to deal with this—particularly when the safety of your wife and daughter are involved. The other is to get management on your side. Just like the first person who calls 911 is the "good guy," the first one of you to take his concerns to the apartment management is the good guy.
