You want to build an AK or talk about the intricacies of fine double shotguns or rifles or the merits of the 16-gauge over the 12 or 20, he's your guy. He also has the scary habit of hitting clay-pigeons at about 70 yards just when everyone else thinks it's lost (and giving us heart-attacks while doing so). Generous to a fault, he's a wonderful addition to any party, comes somewhat house-trained and is a fine example of a Texan

Let's put it this way......that would be a LOT of pistol to lug around all day. You know how they say "a pistol is for fighting your way back to the long gun you should have never set down?" I think you would be better off to:
- EDC a pistol
- keep an AR or AK carbine in a standard carbine barrel length in the car
- be home in bed, sober, by 10:00 p.m. so you don't have to use either of them.
