However, you are allowed to use deadly force in defense of property. It may or may not be the wise thing to do, but it is legal. Maybe it would be a deterrence. As I see it now, one can't use deadly force against flash mob cleaning up a store, not until the clerk is attacked, deadly force is not justified.
