Exactly.....but being a lawful gunowner from Massachusetts, he probably didn't get much practice. Too much trouble trying to figure out how to lawfully carry the gun to the range. Despite Massachesetts' repressive gun laws? I doubt it. The victim had to have shot himself, since their "sensible" laws allow a citizen to own a gun but also keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Obviously a botched suicide attempt.
