What brand o/u?

Doesn't seem to be much middle ground with shotguns. They are either $400.00 or $1,400.00. Have seen some good things on the Yildiz o/u's for the prices.

I have a old Browning (71 model i think) my dad left me i am going to start with. Gun hasn't been shot in years. I've cleaned it and greased it real well. Action still seems pretty tight.

BPS prices on the big three brands seems kind of high.
Mine is a Stoeger Condor Competition model in 12 Gauge with fully adjustable comb and butt pad. It has left-handed cast off and a left handed palm swell. It has 30" ported barrels, and it came with several different chokes and a choke key. I bought mine used for $450.00, but the MSRP is only $649.00. Here is the web page for that gun: http://www.stoegerindustries.com/firear ... _combo.php. Here is a picture taken at our skeet gathering just last Saturday:

Here are some pictures from when I first bought it:

I know there are better shotguns out there, and someday, I would like to own one myself. But those members of this board who have gone to our two skeet shoots and have seen my gun will tell you that for what I paid for this one with all its features, it was an absolute steal. I oughta be arrested.

NEXT....

My wife used a borrowed 20 gauge pump gun at our first skeet gathering, and this was her first ever experience with any kind of shotgun. She was frustrated with the gun, but immediately loved the game. I went to Academy and bought her a Yldiz over and under in 20 gauge with 28" barrels. I think the price was right around $599.00, new in the box for a gun with an alloy receiver and a absolutely beautiful walnut stocks. The gun shoots very well, although it needs to be fitted to her a little bit better. But for the price, it is a very good deal. HERE IS A LINK TO THE WEBPAGE. I don't have a picture of hers, but here is what one of them looks like:

So there is two suggestions for guns that fall in between $400 and $1400 that perfectly serviceable over and under shotguns. I hope that helps.

Looking for a 20ga. semi automatic shotgun.

Not really seeing anything.

Have seen where lefties say they don't notice the shells ejecting across their field of vision.

Would like some experienced lefties opinion on this.
