I will reload for it.
Umm... I would advise against reloading using cases fired from this or any other gun (for use in your Glock). A Glock has an unsupported chamber and the case will bulge to the point of making it unsafe to reload. Any reloaded ammo is potentially unsafe in a glock because of the unsupported chamber. Look up Glock KB (Kaboom). If you custom load with new cases, things should be fine for you as long as you use jacketed bullets to custom load with. Remember lead will foul the bore of a hexagonal rifled barrel and cause a KB as well. If you knew this already, I apologize for this post, but I want to make sure no one gets hurt because I failed to open my mouth, or in this case keyboard. :tiphat:
So do most 1911s have unsupported chambers on the bottom at the feedramp. You don't see very many 1911 kabooms. I'm not touting the superiority of the design. I'm merely pointing out that as long as you load to saami specs, you're not likely to experience kabooms. If you exceed saami specs, then you may well experience one. Lots and lots of people reload for Glocks without any difficulty at all - including Marty, Crossfire's husband, who a certified Glock armorer AND a reloading guru.

Re: Glock 19

My wife owns a G19. Like gfmun said, it's a great little gun - and I'm a 1911 guy too. I've had the opportunity to shoot other models of Glocks in 9mm, .40 S&W, and 10mm. They have all worked as advertised, but I think that the G19 might be the very best compromise between size and concealability. The G26 does conceal better, but I think that most people would find it harder to control in their hand because of the abbreviated grips.

If you have your heart set on the G19, I don't think you'll be disappointed....

...Just don't fire a friend's 1911 afterwards.
