No offense taken. I just think that, in time, you'll probably get opportunities to handle a nice 1911, and actually learn how many safety features are built into cocked and locked carry, and lack of trust will become a thing of the past. I actually own both 1911s, a Glock, and an M&P, and the ones I feel safest with are the 1911s. Plus they conceal very well because they are so flat. So why not just get a 1911?
