If the sign comes down, then you give them your business as a reward for having corrected an error in their ways. If you're not willing to do that, then don't waste your time sending them letters of protest. Otherwise, the protests are meaningless, since you had no intention of going there in the first place. What would they have to lose by not changing? In other words, if you're not willing to give them your business when they take the signs down, then they have nothing to lose by leaving the signs up.hoot wrote:But even after the signs come down, how do we assuage the arrogance and ignorance?chad745 wrote:I'd sure like to see the sign come down ...

I would think so.Abraham wrote:After repeatedly receiving the same email (albeit with different signatures) I'd soon ignore them.
Wouldn't sending in an original email have greater impact?

I don't get the whole chicken wing thing.
Just my opinion though.
Me neither. We went there because my son often hangs out there after work (he gets off work pretty late), and we decided to meet him for a very late dinner.

Re: Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine, TX 30.06 Posted
No, it does not. In fact, just after you walk through the glass doors, there is another sign about the unlicensed carrying of firearms, on the right, where the barrier around the dining area begins. I ate there (for the first time ever, and was singularly unimpressed) just last Thursday night, and I walked right on in and suffered through the food.texchef wrote:On a tangential question, I ate at Buffalo Wild Wings in Grapevine tonight and they don't have a 30.06 that I was able to see (or 51% sign either) but big white letters on the entry door that says something like "We BAN all firearms from our premises" or somesuch. Does that constitute proper notice?

Re: Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine, TX 30.06 Posted
Nope. That is Uncle Buck's that is attached to Bass Pro. (My son used to work at that Bass Pro.) The Great Wolf Lodge is further back south along the Northwest Highway toward the center of Grapevine, near Texan Trail.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:Let me enlighten those of you here on the forum who are not aware of the
situation at the Great Wolf Lodge, due to your geographical distance from this site.
Great Wolf Lodge's facilities are attached to the Grapevine site of Bass Pro Shops, a large
store full of outdoor gear including rifles, shotguns, handguns, and ammo. I shoot at the
Bass Pro indoor range, which is approximately a 30 second walk to the door of Great Wolf's
restaurant.
This is quite the unnecessary "Point/Counterpoint" situation.
Law abiding firearms enthusiasts on one side of a glass door are then assumed to be trouble-
makers if they go through the glass door to have a meal?? Ridiculous.

Re: Great Wolf Lodge Grapevine, TX 30.06 Posted
I was there this past spring at a business function, and we entered through their conference center, which is around behind the main hotel building. There was no 30.06 posting at that time, and I carried into the meeting.
