Interesting. I've had much the same concerns about both Hutchison and Perry, but unlike you, I didn't know which I would give the edge to yet. I'm still learning about Texas politics. But I will agree that I was very concerned about Perry's positions regarding securing the border and the transportation corridor. That said, I thought that both candidates were far and away better than what many other states get served up. But I hadn't heard anything about Medina yet. Thanks for the link. She seems pretty impressive as an individual. I guess the question is whether or not she'll get squashed by the other two behemoths.

It's going to get interesting when the governor's campaign heats up. Both Perry and Hutchison are well regarded by the NRA.
