On Twitter, when this story first broke, someone told me that it had actually happened to him, and he didn’t get the package until 2 weeks after it was shipped. Turns out that a woke UPS employee, thinking that it was a box of ammo, had taken the package home and soaked it in a bucket of water for a week before bringing it back and reinserting it into the shipping stream. It was a box of special screws for some antique rifles.
