Yep I was speading and I'll pay the ticket, I will take responsability for what I did, I wasn't trying to blame anyone else for my actions, I would perfer to have to spent the money a different way.

Yes I should have applied for defensive driving but I procrastonated to the point that I had to pay online because I could not get out of work to go to court.

Speeding Ticket I-10 Harris county

I learned that I-10 close to downtown Houston is a 60 mph zone (I live in Jefferson county and don't get to Hoston much). I was caught with laser doing 70.

When the officer approched my truck I handed him my DL and CHL, he asked if where my firearm was and asked me to step out of my vehicle. He then made the comment that he agreed with CHL's but he just needed to seperate me from my firearm. I told him I understood and I stood by my truck while he wrote me up. Nice guy, no attitude, but I still don't like the idea of spending $180 when I was just driving with traffic. This is the first time I have been stopped in a long time and the first time ever with my CHL.
