Re: Gun Rental in Houston area

I will ask to see what area they will be in, but they are on vacation so they will be pretty mobile and able to go just about anywhere.

I am pretty sure they are going to Galveston one day so they will be on the south side of town.

Thanks
John

Gun Rental in Houston area

Hello everyone from Iowa, I used to live in Beaumont and do some IDPA shooting in the area, but moved to Iowa a few years back. I have a co-worker that is going to be in Houston for spring break and was wondering if there were any ranges in the area that he could rent comes guns to take his kids sho...

Trying to clear up some mis-information

Well we made it to Iowa and just took our concealed carry class. Iowa has a long way to go to be a "user friendly" carry state. Many folks had questions about Texas chl laws and a couple of issues were brougt up both in class and in a theard on Iowacarry.org's site that I had never heard b...

Thanks Morris, we will miss the matches also. My wife and I have made a lot of freinds at Golden Triangle Gun Club. KB - We will be in the center of the state in a little town called Adel. I think Dubuque is where they based the movie "Take This Job and Shove It". A not so funny story. We ...

Well I'm off to add my vote to Iowa's CCW program.

We leave Monday for our next chapter of life. We're moving to Iowa. I would like to say that I have met several of the members here on the board at the state shoot and at PSC and it was a pleasure. Great folks one and all. My wife and I have enjoyed our time in Texas and if at all possible will come...

Too bad, I just sold one that was right in your price range.

As an fyi for prices it was a mini 14 stainless with a scope and flash hider. I got $475 out of it. It had an aftermarket solid stock.

I wandered into a tack store a while back and found a Circle Y belt for $20. It's probably not as stock as some of the more expensive belts out there but it's not bad for the price.

I can't confirm it, but I was told by a fellow that just bought one, that you can shoot 45 Long Colt in the 454 Casul.

If so, I would lean toward it for the option to shoot what I would guess to be cheaper and should be "calmer" shooting.

I made it on Sat and you're right it was packed, which is a good thing. I'm sure that everyone has noticed the price of ammo going up, but has anyone noticed the price of guns going up? I've been kicking around the idea of getting a cheap AK (WASR) and earlier in the year they were around $200, on S...

I have a Liberty safe and like it very much. I have never had any incidents so I cannot speak to their customer service or the "toughness" of the safe. During my search for a safe all the major companies had their spin on how fire proof their product is. So I stayed with the majors and bou...

I'm with everyone else on the good plinker, but don't expect it to be a ruger or browning for reliability. I had one that I used to teach a younster to shoot and he realy liked it, but we did have a few fte. Also the other problem that I had was the way I gripped it would cause the mag to drop out. ...
