Nupe, ' need to check that out a little better. Methinks possibly confused with some of the Mexican loads that use primer only (and are recommended for handguns only due to squibs in rifles). The .22 Longs shown in the link DO indeed have gunpowder, enough to get the projectile started at over 700 fps - certainly capable of damage to far more than birds.
