With Kel-Tec's new 9 on the way, probably a good thing for Kahr to have a less expensive version ...

Thanks for the report on the less-expensive version. Good to hear yours ran as advertised. I've had a "Lady K-9" (out of production) for around 8 years and PM-9 for at least 2. No probs with either after break-in.
One of my students recently paid $700+ for their "new" .45ACP. It is also quite accurate but the trigger would not re-set about 40% of the time. It took 3 trips back to the factory over the first month, but Kahr eventually made the re-set prob right with whole new upper. Now if the slide would just lock back consistently after the last shot ...
