Re: pulled over
Good point, although I have already made up my mind to never do this again. I still wonder about him letting me drive away while I was still drinking the "beer". And buying it before noon on Sunday.

Re: pulled over
Well that was in June... time for an update.
August 9,2008 – I went work at about 1700 in Galveston to repair a phone problem in my office. It took me about 15 min. and I headed back to Texas City. While driving down 6th St. I passed a LEO at an intersection. He immediately pulled in behind me and turned his lights on. Of course when I saw him as I passed by I started slowing down. I might have been going a little fast. When we had stopped the LEO got out of his car and approached my drivers window. I was sitting with both hands on the steering wheel. He asked if I knew the speed limit on this street. I told him “yes, 30 mph." He then asked if I knew how fast I was going. I told him the only logical answer, “Uh… 30?” He laughed and said, “I’ve been doing this a long time. I didn’t clock you, but it looked to me as though you were going a lot faster than that”. He then asked for my DL and insurance. I produced them as well as my CHL. He asked “got that on you”? I told him yes. He asked where, and I pointed towards the area (I was wearing my Smart Carry). Now he asked if I had been drinking. I was drinking an O’Doul’s. He said that I could get in a lot of trouble for driving with an open container. I didn’t know at the time, but O’Doul’s contains 0.5% alcohol by volume, which he pointed out to me. Anyway, no ticket. Good stop all in all. I do have questions though, like why did he let me drive off drinking my O’Doul’s and why can I buy it before noon on Sunday?![Cheers2 :cheers2:](./images/smilies/cheers2.gif)
