The statistics are not just straight numbers a lot are based on per 100,000 people statistics so it is a better comparison when you are comparing the crime of very differently populated and sized countries.

I did a speech on this study in my college speech class and they asked people how they felt about everyone's subject before and after and out 10 people 4 switched from anti gun to neutral and none went from the pro/neutral to the anti side. You cant argue against facts and statistics.
