Re: Taurus 85 Ultralite 38 Special (with special problems)
Hi guys, I thought I better give an up-date on the Taurus 38 UL. We did send it back to the factory through S.A.W. It took exactly 9 weeks from the day we dropped it off, until the day we got it back from S.A.W. The good thing is that we took it to the range the next day and my wife shot about a 100...

Re: I may have found my CCW.
Hi NTexas, I own an XD 40 and an M&P 40. I carry the XD because I feel comfortable with carrying chambered with the grip safety. I actually like the M&P more. It feels more comfortable in my hand. It just feels right!! I cannot tell any difference at the range. I consistently shoot about the...

Re: Taurus 85 Ultralite 38 Special (with special problems)
Thanks seamusTX and pedalman.....We were shooting Winchester White Box 130 Grain Full Metal Jackets in the 38 Ultralite The copper shard that I found upon opening the cylinder had to be from the full metal jacket....it was a complete circle. That's what scared me into not firing it again!!! I'm sure...

Taurus 85 Ultralite 38 Special (with special problems)
Hi Guys, I bought the wife a Tarurus 85 Ultralite 38 Special at the Bigtown Gun Show a couple of weeks ago. She carries an M&P 40 sub-compact. She was wanting something a little lighterweight to carry in her purse when out shopping for long periods of time. The 40 gets a little heavy. She was ex...

Re: CCW weapon recommendation?
You might want to test fire an M&P sub-compact....it's a 3" barrell. All M&P's come with a set of 3 different grips. You can custom fit this pistol to your hand. It's one of the most comfortable pistols that I have ever fired. It conceals great also....and until the end of the month, Sm...

Re: HOW DO YOU PROMOTE CHL?
My wife and I are both new to CHL. We got our plastic in November of 2007. Most of the men that I work around have had CHL's for years. My friends that do not have CHL's all seem to be very supportive...3 have said that they want to do it this year. I usually bring up the fact that we are all in our...

I chose Bluedot 40 simply because I reload for my 40S&W's with Bluedot powder.

Re: S&W Sigma, M&P, or Ruger SR9?
I own an M&P 40 and an XD 40. A friend of mine just bought a Sigma 40. We took it to the range last week. The Sigma does surely have a "different" trigger pull. The first time I shot it, I thought something was wrong, I pulled the gun back to check it out. Then I remembered reading rev...
