thanks, that's useful data.I'm still tinkering with loads for the SRH I bought last Spring. The Trail Boss loads in the 6.5-7.o gr with 240 gr swc are pretty pleasant to shoot in my SRH, although I haven't put enough time into learning the gun. For the hotter side, it's been 2400 and more recently AA#9. I've run up to 20 gr of 2400, but found that a more sane dose at 18.5 gr would just as easily get the job done. The AA#9 was a very pleasant surprise, and I think in the future I'll probably concentrate my .44 mag efforts for both the SRH and the Rossi M92 on #9. It's still good to know that Unique will work in a pinch too.
I will probably also try green dot and maybe Universal Clays. For the rifle its 2400 and titegroup, though blue dot worked pretty good too.
