I carry a 4.25" SW1911PD. Very good gun. Fully functional as is. Night sights would be a nice addition though.
Good to hear it, Photoman. Got the Glock up for sale tonight. I'll be looking for a SW1911 when it sells.

For a bit less money, you sure? I thought the basic Smith 1911's ran around the $900.00 range, and the Colts at this store were just over $700.00. Please advise on if Smith makes a 1911 in this price range, because I agree with you on the fact that you get the best warranty in the business. Smith makes an excellent product.

Colt Question

What's the skinny on the newer Colt Series 80 1991's? I've seen two at my range lately, just over $700.00, they feel as though to be put together very well, but I haven't researched them much.
