Re: Concealed Carry Full Size Pistol

mr.72,

You and I are very close in size. I'm about 6' 1" and 190-195'ish. I do carry both IWB and OWB, never pocket carry. My pants are 34" waist Wranglers, I move to 36" waist when I carry IWB. Don't have any pictures of carrying my revolvers, but here's a few of pictures of the pistol I carry sometimes.

I know it's not the pistol you are carrying, but I can only say carrying a belt gun is not difficult. Like longtooth said, get a good belt. Find a quality holster. When I buy shirts I find the one that fits me then buy the next size up. No they don't look grossly oversized, they don't hang down to me knees, but they do provide more room and length to help conceal.

Conceal carry is a little bit of a compromise. If you want to carry a large gun, you can't do so with a snug fitting shirt and skimpy belt. A skimpy belt lets the gun flop around way too much and the snug shirt prints way too much.

Don't give up, try a few things mentioned here and you'll be very happy that you did!
