You might get very mixed reviews here. Seems like people either like Taurus revolvers or they cuss them.

I own two Taurus revolvers, an old 65 and a newer 85. Both have operated great. Only failures I've had with the 65 were related to letting the cylinder get too dirty to turn easily. I shot the 65 in IDPA for ~ a year, it did well. I don't have experience with the Tracker line of wheelguns though, maybe someone else here does.

In short, I like Taurus revolvers and would recommend them if they fit your budget. However check out the revolver very well before you put your money down on it, make sure the timing looks correct, lockup is good, and the cylinder-to-forcing cone gap is adequate. Seems like these are the three major gripes I hear about Taurus wheelguns.
