Ah, but these are different times in that the one world government is on the way and it can't be stopped.
This was foretold a few thousand years ago, and it's happening right before our eyes.

Just like the US has 50 states and one central Federal Government...well, under the one world
government we will be nothing more than a state that is enslaved to the central government.

Course, some of us won't be here when all the really bad stuff starts happening.
It's gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out and how Israel will still be standing
after the super powers of the world attack it....which shouldn't be too far off now...

Re: Question 'bout "Castle Law"

You run your Dodge truck on little bitty .38 cylinders?
That's got to be a strange set-up for a truck.

Do they discharge when you hit pot holes? :smilelol5:

Re: Question 'bout "Castle Law"

You're also facing death as all of us are.

All I'm saying is life in this world isn't all it's cracked up to be
considering all the suffering, poverty, etc.

I know where I'm going, and if faced with somebody
thretning to kill me...it's not a threat cause I'm ready!

And, if I were fighting for what I believe in (like say, freedom!)
then I would have no problem being in harms way.

Are you prepared to die???
You do understand that it's only your body that quits
working, and you will be conscience and alive forever, right?

Yes, it used to be that way...but liberals are teaching the world that we all must "evolve", and that includes changing our consitution and laws to fit the liberal agenda and mindset.

Just wait until they start arresting people for not living a "green" lifestyle because thier carbon footprint is too big.
That's next, you just wait.

And, there's a big difference between "hiding", and "privacy".
I'm not yet ready to broadcast what I have...because it's not the government's business.

It's best to keep your business with guns under your hat so you maintain the element of supprise should you ever need to use them.
Choosing not to broadcast so you can enjoy privacy is not living in fear.

If bad trouble starts, I'll be out there on the front lines cause I have no problem dying for what I believe.
Actually, I'd rather go Home than stay here...so death is no threat to me at all considering I'd rather not be here in the first place.

My experiences here on planet earth have been that this place suxx due to the darkness & evil of the minds of men the world over

Good, law abiding citizens did nothing...and the hippies took over government and took over teaching our children....while "good" people sat by and did nothing.

Many won't even get off their rear and vote, let alone show force in numbers out in public!
But, them hippies do...

They just passed around the big bong up in Denver and they all inhaled the kool-aid!

Oh yeah? All it takes is for two justices to be replaced by liberal justisces...ad they bring a challenge to this back to the court...and suddenly we've LOST our right to bear arms! This is exactly what the democraps have planned.

NOTHING is cemented into government law because they've done the same thing hitler did, and that is start teaching the kids liberalism and when they get old enough to vote, they vote liberal...which means we are turning into a socialist country.

Democracy is worthless when everyone votes our rights away, and that's where we're going.

If I did that, I'd be on the government's list of people to go after if/when the ultra liberals get into power.

Nope, just face to face purchases for me.

I just wait to find the good deals from guys that love guns enough to take care of them.
Buying a good used gun is very similar to buying a good used truck. Ya gotta be patient.

I'd rather not be on record as being a gun owner. Just a personal preference.

And, there are many other ways of learning what the laws are other than
taking the class, such as asking questions at Texas Shooting.com!

Thanks for the overview.

Question 'bout "Castle Law"

I've heard about the "Castle Law" that was adopted by the state legislature in November of '07 that supposedly gives law abiding Texas citizens the right to have a concealed handgun in their automobile, their workplace, and of course their home without having to have a concealed gun permit.

Is this true?

What I was hearing was that this law is an adaptation of an old english law that allows you to protect your "castle" with deadly force if it's needed.

I'm thinking about building a steel strong box in my truck to carry a pistol and some ammo in case I ever need this, and I'd rather not get a concealed permit.

Is this going to be legal under this "Castle Law"?
Or, would I be going to jail for this if caught?
