I'm so mad at myself. I got back from a week vacation in san antonio on thursday. And in my relaxed vacation mode completely forgot this shoot was this past weekend. Looks like a decent turn out. Would love to see more photos!! There is no way i'll miss the next one. Shoots/get-togethers are one of the best ways to increase bonds between fellow shooters and chl holders. Hopefully with the amount of people that couldn't make this one, the next will be ever bigger.

My brother had come into town so me and my dad went shooting friday. We went out to tacpro and they had some steel in the ipsc bays so that was fun. I shot my brothers m&p 9-c , I think i'm gonna have to get one now. Disappears real good in an iwb holster too. He had an lcp with pocket holster which was pretty neat too.

Genghis grill is good. I've never left unsatisfied and always take some home. The key is to pack as much stuff into that bowl as possible :) I have a lot more rifles than handguns so i'll just be bringing my browning highpower, a highpower clone, taurus 92s,makarov and maybe a snubnose .38. October 2nd is best for me because i'm taking a vacation at the end of this month and it'd give me more time to stock up on ammo.

Fees are different whether you want to shoot steel or not:
$15.00 Paper Targets
*DISCOUNT: 10 rounds for $120.00

$20.00 Steel for 30 minutes
*DISCOUNT: 10 rounds for $160.00

And it's never crowded. Many times me and my buddy have it to ourselves or a couple other people. But elm fork does seem to have a decent steel range.

Cool I may try and come to this depending on the date. I've known andyc for a while.

I'm not too excited about this rule though.

I never use scopes I only have one and it's not sighted in. Plus I have many rifles I would want to bring which I couldn't mount the scope on.

They host 3 gun matches and teach firearms classes. They have a 100yd range,200yd range for paper targets, two 50yd ipsc bays which usually have steel in them but haven't sometimes lately. Might have to ask them for it. You can shoot from the benches,sitting,laying down, no restriction on fmj or much of anything besides tracers I think,no rapid fire rule, ipsc bays allow you to move and shoot.

But that cowboy action shooting range at elm fork looks neat. :)
