Actually your comment did cause me to think about repellents.... I did think CS might work ok... given the fact I probably can't use Sarin.... which would most certainly work.

Pepper spray would probably make your car's interior uninhabitable for quite some tiem....

Anyone consider rigging some pepper spray to go off inside your car if the alarm goes off? This would have to be trigger by the alarm AND something else that would only happen in the event of a theft, like the battery being disconnected, that way you wouldn't gas your car on every loud exhaust that passes by. It's certainly do-able, but maybe I'm just a little crazy myself. I certainly would get a giggle if I woke up one morning and my car was broken into but still completely intact and smelling like pepper. Maybe you'd never get the smell out, I don't know. BTW, I'm aware that lethally booby-trapping your property is illegal, but pepper spray should get them running in no time with no legal worries that I know of.
