I'd rather die trying to defend my life than huddle in the corner like a sheep... I'm not about to run into a hail of bullets while screaming at the top-o-my lungs... but if you have opportunity to make a difference between your family escaping and unknown other families escaping and you choose to run, you're not someone who's welcome at my house.

That being said...I would never without need put myself in the line of fire and risk not being a father to my baby. 5 years ago? Probably.

it was a "gun free" zone... or a criminals welcome zone.

In NE the signs are not required to be specific like the 30.06 postings, a simple firearm with the slash through it would be legal.
Yet another attack occurred in a gun-free zone.
