Re: If Const. Carry passes, a signage question
Answering question 2 first - In the current amended version of HB 1927 there is no legally defined sign for preventing unlicensed handgun carriers from entering a building. To answer question 2: In my opinion (which is worth what you have paid for it), based off of the legal definition of notificat...

Re: If Const. Carry passes, a signage question
I'm still not quite wrapping my head around the implications of HB 1927. Can anyone help clarify: 1. Does this mean that an LTC holder would be prohibited from carrying in an establishment with legal 30.06/30.07 signage, but someone with no license would be allowed to carry there? 2. Is there an equ...

http://youtu.be/A8r4MK3R4PI According to his own account, the police approached him, grabbed at his rifle without warning, and then he jumped back and told them they were not taking his rifle. He then proceeds to complain for 10 minutes, insulting the police threatening to sue and so forth. I'd say...

Re: Wildlife Service kills family pets in Texas
Yep and ya did it again. you want clear cut example. car leaks on private open driveway cat/dog that is loose and unrestrained due to whatever reason laps it up then dies. No matter how many ways you try to excuse it away it will always fall on the owner for not taking care of their pets. I am not ...

Re: Colorado may be a lost cause
The liberal mind is a wonder of profoundly flawed logic ruled by irrational emotion and obsession with being in control of everyone else according to what the liberal thinks is right. Case in point; I was appalled recently when my extreme left thinking stepson argued with me over a woman's right to...

Re: OC v CHL
So you see there is much more at stake than just the students. Its teachers, workers, visitors, etc. This, allowing campus carry affects relatively few undergraduate students while being a huge help to thousands of staff and non-traditional students. I personally would like to see both OC (with sig...

Without commenting on this specific situation, I note many hotels may charge cancellation fees. Doesn't seem even remotely similar. Besides most hotels only charge a fee if you cancel within 24 hours of your arrival or no show. Charging a restocking fee is one thing, or a fee for a custom built ite...

Ever been to DC? Park in VA and take the metro in. Gun stays in car (well hopefully stays in your car...). Wouldn't want to try to drive inside the beltway anywayA-R wrote:I would go, but they won't let me have my guns there - even in my car

Re: open carry bill filed
I'm no lawyer, but what is so hard about leaving 30.06 notice alone for concealed carry and just letting a combination of gun busters and verbal notice suffice for open carry? That is, that a gun buster (or generic "no guns") would prohibit open carry, but let there be some verbal notice r...

Re: New York may reach 100 subway deaths this year
The statistical uncertainty goes as the square root of the number of events when determining the rate of something like this, meaning with six deaths the uncertainty in the rate is around 40%. Of course, the fact that liberals would have trouble with numbers doesn't really surprise me.

Re: Walmart to stop selling ammo?
The 10pm thing has been in place for at least 5 years. I wouldn't be surprised at all if walmart is enacting policies to deal with the shortage of ammo and volatile demand. It would even make sense for them to wait till the administration makes clear their proposals (which likely will not affect in ...

If we can do anything to help with this, say the word. From how this is described this makes a lot of sense, and would make a huge difference for many CHL holders out there.
