I think that non-citizen DL's are different than normal DL's. They are oriented sideways like an under 21 DL and say that the person is not a US citizen.

I pocket carry a XD40SC in the pockets of 5.11 tactical pants. I pocket carry a LCP when my jeans are too tight for other options. (I know you said 9mm, but .380 in my pocket is better than a .45 out in the parking lot). Be sure to get a holster to cover the trigger, DeSantis makes different models....

I pocket carry, a XD40SC when I can and a LCP when the pockets are too small. I agree about a holster, I like the DeSantis line. I don't carry anything in the pocket with the gun, I feel safer with a holster and it keeps the properly orented better.

I like my Ruger LCP. I carry it in a DeSantis Nemesis. It makes a nice package, fits well with jeans or slacks. You need to practice drawing from the pocket with each type of pants.

My wife is in the process of getting her CHL. She is thinking about carrying in her purse. We have discussed the problems with off body carry and she is looking at other options. But in the mean time does anyone have suggestions for a good source for purses designed for concealed carry.

The first 2 are cci followed by hollow points. If I need it for something too large for the rat shot I just have to pull the trigger 3+ times to start. I think the rat shot will discourage most problems long enough for the hollow point to arrive.

I carry CCI rounds in my XD40SC. Works fine.
