Re: Sign businesses calling churches
I have suspected that this is happening. I have seen several convenience stores that never had 30.06 signs before that are now displaying both 30.06 and 30.07 signs. Both signs have a light red Ghostbusters superimposed over them which leads me to believe that some company is pushing them both for s...

Re: LEO taking CHL class
Thank you n5wd, I did not ask my question properly to convey my confusion but your post has given me what I needed to know. I was unsure as to whether a LEO needed to come to us to apply for a Chl or if there was another process.

Re: LEO taking CHL class
So bottom line, if a LEO wants a CHL but doesn't want to take the course should we just fill out a CHL-100 for them and charge a nominal fee for administrative purposes?

Re: Texas house bill 383
I think that this is a bad bill that is intended to limit the number of people that can carry concealed. I also think that it is something that some CHL instructors may like in order to keep receiving their training fees for a Texas license. I am a CHL instructor and I don't think that is a valid re...

Re: The Future of CHL
I would really like to see the employer parking lot bill passed. I hate having to leave everything at home untill after work each day. I would also like to see the "not applicable" subsection in TPC §46.15 enacted as Charled mentioned earlier. I would also like to see more in depth coverag...

My sons and I would like to attend also. I just need to check and ensure that they are not working that weekend.

My sons and I would like to attend.
One of my sons is a Caldwell counte Deputy Constable and he has been to that range several times.
He hasn't taken me out there yet though.
Maybe we could all get together.

Re: Louisiana update
Are there any followups on this issue? I am thinking about going to Louisiana next month to visit my son and it would be good to know if I can carry in a resaurant or not. I read the Louisiana law but found it to be quite confusing so I still don't know for sure.

Re: Anyone else expect their plastic today?
The web site said that my license was issued on Monday but I still have not received the plastic. I live in Austin so I didn't figure that it would take more than two days to get here.
Oh, well. It's been two and a half months since the class, what is another few days.
