Heck, my interpretation was a lot simpler. If the passenger wasn't prohibited from possessing the weapon, and the trooper told them to get in the vehicle, there's no problem.
If a trooper is working an accident, and motions you through a 4-way stop, you don't necessarily have to stop at the stop sign. Right?

That is correct. As long as the passenger is not prohibited from possessing a weapon, there wouldn't be any legal issue with them being alone in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.puma guy wrote: If I am understanding what you guys are saying - A passenger not in control of the vehicle with full knowledge that a loaded concealed weapon is in the vehicle and can be easily accessed in not a violation in any way as long as they are not prohibited? Nothing wrong with your passenger being in the vehicle with a loaded weapon, unless they are prohibited from possessing one.
