If, for some reason, your class isn't moved, make sure you park on the back side of the hotel. Go around the back, and park on the far end (nearest 183). I think all of the vehicles that got hit were in the front parking lot since it made for a faster getaway.sjfcontrol wrote:Well, that's cute! Wonder if they'll move the July 19th class. I've been at the St. Michael Plaza since Sunday afternoon. There has been one vehicle broken into, and two vehicles stolen from the parking lot. I believe those are the correct statistics.
I've noticed one exterior door that CAN'T be locked and a few that won't lock unless you pull them closed. On Monday, housekeeping neglected to make sure that the door to my room was secured after they cleaned. Luckily nothing came up missing.
Several of us who opted not to relocate have been spending time making periodic passes through the parking lot. The fact that they have moved the remaining classes is a very good thing.
