I've been using these for years. They only last about a year but work great. I use the double pouch version with a mag in one half and my knife on the other. After a while, they start to fray but at >$20.00, one really can't expect much. The flap completely covers the mag.

The other thing that you might want to consider is that your mags don't really have to be concealed, just the pistol so if you want to carry IWB with spare masgs, a standard belt mag carrier would be perfectly legal. The only people who would even notice are other "gun nuts". :txflag:
