I have never seen the Toters jeans in person, but based on the video, the CCW breakawyas seem to be a slightly different animal. In the CCW pants, a full size 1911 can fit completely inside the pocket. The snaps on the pocket rim are not the sole method to retain the weapon (they have a velcro strap system inside the pocket for retention that is adjustable to the weapon). When unsnapped, the size of the pocket opening increases significantly, allowing for a clean draw (with practice I assume).carlson1 wrote:If the carry even is close to it as are the "Toters Jean" you can forget it! Well I will forget anyways. It was a waste of good money. Buy yourself a good pocket holster if that is your form of carry.

If you normally carry a small frame weapon, I agree that a simple pocket holster is a better choice. Sticking a full size 1911 in the front pocket of standard pants is a bad idea though.
For me, I normally wear jeans, and I normally carry in a quality IWB holster. Sometimes I have to (or want to) dress a little nicer, and I'm not a fan of tuckables. These look like they might be a good solution to those situations.
