HI WEC...I have a PM9 that I occasionally carry. I like it a lot, I just like my MK40 more. Humidity isn't much of a problem in this area. I'm very curious about the rust problem you're having, though. The magazine release on my PM9 is poly. Can poly rust? I might learn something that'll help me ward off any potential problem. So, I'll be watching this thread. Thanks
