Officer touches the trunk of your car to put his print on there for evidence in case there's an incident... at least that's what I've heard.

Drifting is when you go around a corner and you over accelerate causing the back of the car to slide out past the direction of travel and holding there while traveling in a straight line. Basically keeping the car crossed up.

excellent stop by Fort Worth PD

I was leaving a gas station, pulled up to the stop sign. Making a left turn across I-35w. I have to admit that I got a little agressive and punched it turning left. My Mustang slides the back end very easily. Today was no exception. The back end rotated about about 30 degrees past the direction of travel and I held it there. As I cross over 35 and pull to the next stop sign I see a Black and white behind me. I knew what was coming. Sure enough, as soon as we clear the intersection, the lights come on.

I pull over, shut the car off, place the keys on top of the dash board and retrieve my ID's and insurance. Driver came up on my side and "printed" on the trunk lid. Partner came up on the passenger side. He asks for the info and asks if I am in a hurry. I answer "no, I guess I just got a little carried away". :oops: He asks if I have my weapon and when I replied he asks where it was. I explain that it is on my right hip inside the waste band. He hands me back my CHL and Insurance and says he will be right back.

A couple minutes later he comes back and hands me my DL. He looks at me and says "Slow down for me ok?" I answered, "Yes sir, thank you, I appreciated it.

I COMPLETELY deserved a ticket. I could not have asked for a better stop. :txflag:
